Hey friends and strangers we hope become friends! Im Dani! owner and roaster of Ultreya Coffee Roasters. We are located in Sunny San Diego and woman owned and operated! I opened our cafe Ultreya Coffee roasters in 2018 after 15yrs in the coffee industry. I bootstrapped my business with little money and were still standing. During the pandemic I thought I was going out of business, with a big overhead and little money coming in, I knew I had to go all in like 1,000% full send. I always knew roasting coffee would be part of our story, so I bought a SF6 5 pound roaster in 2020, and got to learning to roast. after 3.5 years we have a solid coffee roasting program with delicious coffee, lots of choices and even go to meet coffee producers when we can. Feb 2023, I went with some other local roasters and my green coffee buyer to Mexico to meet woman producers and learn the process from coffee plants to cup. Im obsessed with coffee, I'm grateful for customers, and my passion is to continue to learn and serve community. It's been a struggle to get here and stay open but I'm enthusiastic and trusting that we thrive in this industry, thanks to our loyal customers.
